Camping Rules

All activities must be performed consensually. If any consent violations occur, the party that caused the consent violation will be banned from RKS.

  • Safety

    • Do not take actions that put RKS, its membership, or its reputation at risk.

    • RKS provides basic first-aid supplies in cases of necessity. Please let a Board Member know if these become necessary.

    • If you are engaging in play that will require medical supplies, it is your responsibility to provide those supplies.

    • Securing anything worn around the neck to a hard point is prohibited.

    • In the event of an emergency, let the Board Member on duty handle any 911 calls.

    • House safewords

      • The verbal “house” safeword is “Safeword” or “Red”.

      • The nonverbal “house” safeword is using a hand to make the peace symbol (a V using first two fingers). If this is not possible, please provide a board member with an alternative non-verbal safeword to look for.

    • Pets are not allowed at the Kinky Camping Event. Due to the nature of scenes, many animals may become too anxious or disturbed.

      • If you have a service dog, please feel free to bring them, but please keep them on a leash (if possible). Dog poop must be cleaned up immediately and disposed of in a trash receptacle.

    • Bound players must not be left alone. Spotters are required for self-suspensions.

    • When engaging in fire play, keep a way to put out the fire nearby. Don’t cause any forest fires. Smokey the bear will be mad.

    • Though we respect your right to have firearms, we ask you not to bring them to our events.

    • No marijuana allowed in any form.

    • No alcohol allowed.

    • No drug use, unless prescribed by a doctor.

    • You are free to come and go from the event, but do not come back while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

    • Attendees who refuse to obey the rules will be asked to leave without refund.

  • Hygiene

    • Penetration is allowed during the kinky camping event. The use of condoms is encouraged.

    • Engaging in impact play over fresh blood is not permitted, as to avoid airborne blood droplets.

    • Equipment must be wiped down with antibacterial wipes promptly and thoroughly once your scene is complete.

    • Watersports is allowed at the kinky camping event, but needs to take place on the outskirts of the field, not in the dungeon area or near people’s tents.

    • Any bodily fluids must be cleaned up promptly and thoroughly once your scene is complete. If you expect any bodily fluids to be spilled during your scene, you must cover equipment with a drop-cloth and/or absorbent pad. It is your own responsibility to provide pads and drop-cloths for your own scenes.

    • If you need to smoke or vape tobacco, we ask you to leave the area so that no smoke will be around the group, and clean up all cigarette butts. A smoking area will be provided, and its use is encouraged. Smoking may also be done on the outskirts of the field.

  • Behavior / Etiquette

    • Do not interrupt scenes in progress or attempt to address people who appear to be playing or engaging in aftercare.

    • Scenes (including sex/sex acts) are expected under the pavilion and off on the outskirts of the field and in your own tents. If you're doing them in those areas you don't need to ask or notify others around you. The fire pit and surrounding area is dedicated as the "lounge area" where scenes are not welcome. This is so that people have a guaranteed place to go (other than their own tent) if they want to get away from scenes/sex for a bit. Anywhere else, it would be polite to ask those around you before engaging since it's not something that may not be expected there.

    • When observing scenes, the impetus is on the observer to remove themselves from the situation if a scene makes them uncomfortable.

    • Harassing behavior is not permitted at RKS events. If a person is engaging in harassing behavior intentionally, please report their behavior to an RKS official. HARASSING BEHAVIOR may include but is not limited to:

      • NON-CONSENSUAL BODY SHAMING: Commenting on anyone's body or body type in any kind of derogatory manner without consent.

      • NON-CONSENSUAL TOUCHING. This includes touching others possessions or toys.

      • PUPPY-DOGGING or OTHER PREDATORY BEHAVIOR. Following a person(s) around, pressing for scenes despite receiving multiple “No”(both soft and hard No's) answers are some examples.

      • INTENTIONALLY DISRESPECTING PROTOCOL. If you are engaging in high protocol, it is your responsibility to inform others if they are infringing.

      • INTENTIONALLY MISGENDERING PEOPLE. If you have specific pronouns, it is your responsibility to inform others if they are using the incorrect pronouns. After you have done so, it is expected that all RKS attendees respect this.

      • AGEIST / RACIST / SEXIST REMARKS OR RAMPANTLY SPREADING MISINFORMATION are not permitted at RKS Events unless while in a context of a consensual scene. If someone calls you out on this, be graceful and cease problematic behavior. If it continues, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

    • Play furniture is available on a "first-come, first served" basis. Do not monopolize play furniture. Board Members are entitled to impose time limits if this becomes necessary.

    • Fetish wear is not required. Please make sure you are dressed discreetly when you enter and leave the property.

  • Security

    • Cell phones are permitted at RKS Events. It is expected that everyone using this type of device treats it as they would any other toy; If a picture or video is being taken, consent from everyone within the frame must be received prior to the image being captured. Non-consensual photos, audio recordings and videos being captured will result in disciplinary action.

    • Tagging people in social media writings, posts or pictures requires consent from those being tagged or mentioned by name.

    • Do not share the address or location of the event.
